We campaign for a fairer economy, so growth can work for good.
The Good Growth Foundation was established to ensure the UK thrives on the world stage.
We want growth that makes people’s lives better. Jobs, Housing and public services no longer create the security and living standards that people need. We are here to provide answers on how to deliver the changes necessary and how to talk about the economy in a way that makes sense to the public.
Our approach focuses on what matters most to people. Through polling, focus groups and policy analysis we drive the conversation on how to deliver popular solutions to the UK’s decade of lost growth.
Mind the Growth Gap
What politicians are missing when it comes to growth
January 2025
Our foundational report reveals the growth gap: the divergence between what politicians think good growth looks like, and what people actually want. Rather than deciding ourselves what good growth is, we went directly to the public to find out. We haven’t just diagnosed the problem – we’ve set out how to bridge the growth gap too.
Parliamentary Launch
Following the publication of Mind the Growth Gap, we held our public launch in Parliament. The Good Growth Foundation was joined by over 150 politicians, business leaders and journalists, who heard from Health Secretary Wes Streeting and Exchequer Secretary James Murray. We were also joined by Dan Tomlinson MP, the National Champion for the Government’s growth mission, Chris Curtis MP, Co-Chair of Labour Growth Group, and Helena Dollimore MP.
