Reforming Education & Skills
Praful sat on Labour’s Council of Skills Advisors, headed by former Education Secretary Lord Blunkett. The council was tasked with reimagining the UK’s approach to education and skills to better prepare individuals for the workforce and life in the 21st century.
In September 2023, they released a comprehensive report that emphasised the urgency of a “Skills Revolution” in light of rapid technological advancements and the need to boost productivity and economic growth.
